We’re all mad here…

1. On my mind

This week, like any really, my mind has been all over the place. Not sure if I’m the Mad Hatter or the March Hare this week. Clearly still struggling to know my days of the week and get my sh*t together for these weekly TTs. I’ve been thinking about best practice HRBP models, transformation strategy, how to get the over 60s in your team to be high performers, and how I can get more done each week, so I’ll try to deep dive into some of these in the coming weeks. For now, just letting you know that my former role at DPC has been advertised for permanent appointment on govnet smartjobs so I can’t share a link sorry. I’m happy to have a chat to anyone who thinks they might be interested in applying to share my insights. I’ve secured some great speakers for upcoming lunch & learn sessions – I just need to make time to schedule them in!

3. @home: All healthy, happy, and juggling the madness as best we can. Still no running but I’ve been doing an hour of exercise each day – sometimes 9pm, sometimes, 430am, sometimes through the day – whenever I can squeeze it in.

4. @work: Thanks to a nudge from the rain I was WFH 60% this week thanks to a supportive team culture. Driving some interesting work in the transformation space and playing around with what best practice strategy design looks like. Trying to support my team to be their best selves and still learning lots about RCC.
